Wes Moore Has “No Regret” Over False Bronze Star Claim

In an interview today on ABC’s This Week, Moore was pressed about his 2006 White House Fellowship application in which he claimed to have been awarded a Bronze Star. In reality, Moore did not receive the medal until nearly two decades later.

When asked why he falsely claimed the honor, Moore refused to provide a direct answer. Instead, he brushed off the question and made it clear he has no regrets about the deception.

This is not the first time Moore has been caught inflating his record. He has repeatedly allowed media outlets to introduce him as a Bronze Star recipient years before he actually received the medal — and never corrected the record.

The refusal to take responsibility fits a larger pattern. From misleading claims about growing up in Baltimore to listing an award that doesn’t exist on his résumé, Moore has repeatedly exaggerated his life story.

Now, on national television, Wes Moore has shown Marylanders that he doesn’t regret lying about his military record.
